According to the latest press release, BDx Data Centers has launched Indonesia’s first data center, which was built specifically for artificial intelligence (AI) and earned a special certification from tech giant NVIDIA.

BDx Launches AI Data Center

The new CGK4 AI campus is now part of the NVIDIA DGX-Ready program, which means it meets high standards for running powerful AI systems.

This facility will help companies in Indonesia train advanced AI models that can perform faster and more efficiently. For this, the company will use equipment designed by NVIDIA.

The center operates on renewable energy and uses a special cooling system that saves power. It is important steps as the world looks for greener ways to power technology.

“AI is fueling a new industrial revolution—one driven by AI factories. The NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center certification is a testament to our capability to deliver state-of-the-art infrastructure to the country,” Mayank Srivastava, Chief Executive Officer of BDx, said.

“As organizations embrace AI, robust environments optimized for AI infrastructure become critical. BDx aims to achieve NVIDIA certification across our data centers to democratize AI at scale for the Indonesian population and accelerate the nation’s journey toward achieving its AI-first goals,” he added further.

Tony Paikeday, senior director of AI systems at NVIDIA, said, “With the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center certification, customers in Indonesia can now access advanced AI infrastructure to innovate faster while contributing to the nation’s green economy goals.”

The CGK4 campus is designed to support big AI projects, like those used in healthcare, finance, and smart cities. It is also built to follow Indonesia’s rules on data localization, which means data can be stored and processed inside the country.
