If you keep a tab on AI glasses, you probably know that Meta Ray-Ban glasses are by far the most popular ones. However, Samsung has been working on a new pair of smart glasses for a while now, which, according to multiple previous rumors, will take direct aim at Meta Ray-Bans. Now, we have an early look at the Samsung Galaxy Glasses, courtesy of Android Headlines, which today leaked the 3D renders of the upcoming smart glasses along with some of its key specs.
Samsung reportedly working on two smart glasses, codenamed Jinju & Haean
It seems Samsung isn’t just working on one, but two smart glasses. The first one is codenamed “Jinju,” while the other, more advanced version is reportedly called “Haean.” Samsung is clearly aiming to compete with Meta and Google in the smart glasses space. As far as launch is concerned, Samsung is likely to release the “Jinju” model first. The said model will reportedly target the entry-level market and could carry a price tag of somewhere around $399 to $499. Let’s not forget that this pair of smart glasses won’t have a display attached.
Moving on to the advanced “Haean” model, it’s likely coming in 2027, according to the news outlet. Unlike Jinju, this version is expected to include a micro-LED display and carry a higher price tag, reportedly ranging from $600 to $900. Samsung is likely to showcase or tease these glasses alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Flip 8 at the next Unpacked event, rumored to be held in London, possibly on July 22.

Leaked specs of the entry-level “Jinju” model
Speaking of specs, both devices are part of Samsung’s Galaxy Glasses lineup and are built on the Android XR platform, which also integrates Google’s Gemini AI. This positions them closer to an AI-first wearable rather than just a smart accessory. Per the report, the Jinju model may run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 chip, feature a 12MP Sony camera, and include a 155mAh battery. It is also expected to support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, directional audio with possible bone-conduction tech. Notably, the display-less model will feature a lightweight design, weighing somewhere around 50 grams.
