BMC Debuts AI-Powered Products for Automation and Mainframe Upgrades

BMC’s New AI-Driven Solutions Designed for the Multi-Cloud World

Houston, October 15, 2024 The introduction of six new AI solutions by BMC signifies a new era in multi-cloud operations and enterprise automation. Announced at the BMC Connect 24 on October 15, 2024, in Houston, these solutions include modern techniques to optimize data performance and functional qualities in different domains of IT.

The last set of these developments is epitomized by HelixGPT, which uses agentic AI to understand the service interaction and offers operators insights and actionable steps, thus maximizing efficiency within AIOps.

The Helix Control-M was also launched with one view of orchestration irrespective of SaaS or On-Premise deployment such that there is uniformity between the cloud and the on-premise world.

Compression of these solutions also leads to enhancement of Data Quality. The new Data Assurance Tool, which is currently in beta version, helps to identify some of the data problems that may arise and rectify them before they go into the AI models or other business-critical applications. Such data quality improvement is due to the emerging demand for better AI that is powered by better Data.

The key focus was on BMC AMI Assistant as one of the significant breakthroughs in mainframe development. Its use in the development workflow simplifies processes by using generative AI thus enabling even those who are non-mainframe specialists to aid in system development.

This tool is part of BMC’s wider vision to rejuvenate relic systems while guaranteeing their effective operation in the future.

“Our customers are the most innovative brands looking for new ways that technology can create business efficiencies, drive greater insights, and better outcomes. We are bringing the expertise of BMC with the power of AI to realize greater value in the business-critical software investments that run their businesses,”

Said Ali Siddiqui, chief product officer at BMC.

“The solutions introduced today will fit into their current IT landscape to propel them into the future.”

Concerning IA, BMC’s Helix Edge stands out as well in that it leverages digital twins to control and communicate with the physical assets, which is essential for enterprises that have a significant level of edge computing.

These advancements usher in a completely new modality of business that leans on AI for enterprise management and automates the management of data and the organization of various business processes regardless of what type of cloud infrastructure, if any, is present.
