In a major enterprise productivity shift, Claude has revealed a new collaboration with Microsoft 365 that provides smooth data access throughout the company via the Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive tools. The integration allows Claude to directly bring organizational context into chats, helping professionals reduce the time spent searching for information and instead spend more time making decisions that have an impact.

Bringing AI Into Everyday Workflows
With the Microsoft 365 Connector in place, Claude is able to communicate with your daily productivity ecosystem. By having access to emails, documents, and calendars, the AI assistant is able to gain a very good understanding of the context in order to make the collaboration more efficient and the decision-making process easier.
The AI assistant is now able to perform different tasks depending on the platform it is in – Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, or Teams. In SharePoint and OneDrive, it can find and interpret company documents across sites and libraries, whether they are project specifications, client presentations, or strategic roadmaps; no manual upload is required. In the case of Outlook, Claude manages the email threads, communication insights extraction, and feedback patterns identification to give a clear picture of project and client progress. In Microsoft Teams, it can dig into chat threads, meeting notes, and channel talks to keep track of decisions and bring important updates to light, ensuring that vital information is always accessible.
Enterprise Search Across Connected Tools
Anthropic, in addition to the Microsoft 365 integration, is presenting a new capability for enterprise search. Users can now have the company-wide knowledge at their disposal through a shared, personalized project that links several productivity tools and makes them available under one interface.
Once an administrator sets it up, every member of the organization gains access to the project, which comes preloaded with custom prompts to optimize Claude’s search accuracy across connected platforms.

For instance, if an employee asks Claude about “remote work policy,” the assistant is able to gather information from HR documents in SharePoint, discussions in Outlook, and the team guidelines from Teams, responding with a complete, informative answer in no time.
The ability to work across platforms not only supports teams in faster onboarding but also in answering complicated business questions and pinpointing the right in-house experts. It makes Claude an organizational knowledge hub that unites the departments by breaking down silos.

Easy Setup for Enterprises
The Microsoft 365 Connector is accessible as of today for all Claude Team and Enterprise customers. Administrators can switch on the connector via the organization’s dashboard, and then individual users can authenticate their Microsoft accounts to start using it.
The enterprise search feature is already available for all Team and Enterprise users as well. Admins can figure out the setup by curating data sources and customizing the project to specific company needs. Once activated, every team member can use Claude by connecting these integrated, organization-level insights.
