Xerpa AI Teams with Aro Network for Decentralized AI Growth

On July 31, Xerpa AI, a rapidly growing AI-powered growth platform, teamed up with Aro Network, a decentralized edge-cloud provider, in a partnership that could enhance how AI applications scale in the Web3 era.

Xerpa AI has already grabbed many headlines as a “growth Sherpa” for blockchain and AI startups, helping them navigate user acquisition and marketing through intelligent automation. Its AGA system replaces traditional, siloed marketing with an advanced AI-based approach.

In this advanced approach, it generates content, distributes it through influencer networks, and refines strategies in real time. Now, by integrating with Aro Network, Xerpa gains access to a decentralized cloud infrastructure that’s optimized for AI workloads.

Aro Network, fresh off a $2.1 million pre-seed funding round, is a platform which is specializes in turning idle internet bandwidth into a peer-to-peer content delivery network (PCDN). As of now, the company’s underlying tech has already powered a network of 1.5 million nodes, generating over $140 million in revenue.

“We are redefining who owns the internet—not just optimizing cost and latency,” said Adam Farhat, Head of Marketing at ARO Network. “This funding proves decentralized infrastructure isn’t theory—it’s working, and it pays. We are scaling an enterprise-grade P2P CDN built for the Open Internet.”

Many experts believe that Aro’s decentralized model could be a game-changer for AI applications with low latency.

Why Xerpa AI’s Partnership With Aero is Important

What makes this partnership unique is its Web3 DNA? Unlike traditional SaaS deals, Xerpa onboarded Aro as a subscriber using $UXLINK, a decentralized payment method, rather than fiat. This aligns with both companies’ emphasis on transparency and programmability, core principles of decentralized finance (DeFi).

For Aro, the benefits are here:

  • Improved Growth Capabilities – Xerpa’s AGA will help Aro in enhancing its user acquisition strategies, particularly in emerging markets where decentralized infrastructure is most needed.
  • Decentralized Compute for AI Applications – Xerpa’s clients, many of whom operate in blockchain and AI, can leverage Aro’s edge network for faster, cheaper, and more resilient AI computations.

Xerpa’s CEO, Sean Son, has previously compared his platform to AppLovin, which fueled mobile app growth in the 2010s. Now, with Aro’s decentralized cloud in the mix, Xerpa could play a similar role for AI-native businesses, except this time, the infrastructure itself is part of the innovation.

Both companies are currently in expansion mode. Xerpa, backed by a $6 million seed round, is scaling operations in Silicon Valley, Tokyo, and Singapore. Aro, meanwhile, is rolling out its testnet and onboarding node operators through its Aronauts Pioneers Program.

“We founded Xerpa AI to solve a critical problem we faced as entrepreneurs: growth was costly, inefficient, and unsustainable. With AI and social graph-based strategies, we’ve reimagined the entire growth lifecycle into a scalable, intelligent engine,” Sean Son, Co-founder and CEO of XerpaAI, said in a press release.

“AppLovin was the Sherpa for the mobile internet wave. XerpaAI will be the Sherpa for the AI-native generation,” he added further.

The explosive growth of AI has exposed critical flaws in centralized infrastructure. This includes sky-high computing costs, reliance on Big Tech monopolies, and concerns over data privacy and censorship. As AI models grow larger and more complex, traditional cloud providers struggle to keep up with demand, leading to bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

Decentralized networks address this issue by providing a compelling solution by distributing computational workloads across a global peer-to-peer system, reducing costs, improving latency, and eliminating single points of failure.

Professor Ramesh Raskar, who spoke on the topic at EmTech Digital in May 2024, said, “As AI evolves beyond screen assistants and into dimensional applications, decentralization emerges as the critical factor for unlocking its full potential. The AI landscape is at a crossroads. While advances continue, concerns mount about job displacement and data monopolies. Centralized models, dominated by a few large companies, are reaching their limits.”

Additionally, the open nature of Web3 is the perfect match for the ethos of transparent, permissionless innovation.
