Manchester-based creative micro-agency BrandXYZ has partnered with national law firm Glaisyers to launch ComplyAI, which is an AI policy service that blends business insight with legal expertise.
ComplyAI Simplifies AI Governance
The service arrives at a critical time. New research shows that 82% of generative AI users have unknowingly used third-party content in prompts. Meanwhile, 71% of writers are unsure if their companies even have AI guidelines, and 95% of managers express concern over the legality of tools like ChatGPT.
According to the report, ComplyAI will offer a practical, three-step approach to simplify AI governance. It starts with an expert-based review of how AI is used within a company.
It uses compliance analysis to identify legal gaps to prepare AI policy according to the company’s requirements.
Jo Taylor, founder and director of BrandXYZ, revealed the motivation behind the launch, saying, “In the race to explore all of the benefits AI has to offer, some businesses are diving into it without sufficient structure or oversight, exposing themselves to significant risk.”
“ComplyAI uniquely blends BrandXYZ’s deep understanding of current and future AI business use cases with the robust legal expertise of Glaisyers ETL. Unlike standard template policies or solutions that only address legal compliance, ComplyAI provides a tailored framework, enabling businesses, especially those without extensive resource, to confidently and securely explore AI’s full potential,” he added further.
Steve Kuncewicz, Partner at Glaisyers ETL, said: “Companies using AI without clear policies could be walking into legal disputes. From GDPR violations to IP conflicts, regulatory fines, and AI ethics concerns, businesses need to take compliance seriously. AI governance is no longer optional – it’s essential. ComplyAI makes it easy for companies.”
