[UPDATE: Nov 18, 2025 – 14:42 UTC]: ChatGPT is back again and is fully operational. You may face some delays while loading previous chats. We recommend you to refresh the page and log into ChatGPT again to get going. The company has marked incident as resolved as of now. But has warned “some customers may be still experiencing issues logging into or using the Cloudflare dashboard.” The company has further assured that it’s working on a fix, and continuing to monitor for any further issues.
We hope the issue is fixed for everyone. If you are still finding it difficult to access any of the platforms affected by the Cloudflare outage, don’t forget to comment below this post. We’ll try to escalate the matter to Cloudflare and update it here.
[UPDATE: Nov 18, 2025 – 14:34 UTC]: In the latest update, Clouflare notes that it has “deployed a change which has restored dashboard services.” And it’s “still working to remediate broad application services impact.” As of now, X and Gemini, Perplexity are working fine. ChatGPT and Copilot are still throwing the same error as we reported a while back.
[ORIGINAL STORY] If you’ve been trying to use ChatGPT, Copilot, or Gemini as of now, but keep getting errors, sadly, it’s not just you. Users across the globe have been reporting issues with many platforms, including those from OpenAI, Microsoft, PayPal, and even X (formerly Twitter). For those unaware, it’s happening because of a major Cloudflare outage.
Cloudflare outage takes down part of the internet
Cloudflare’s official status page confirmed the reports of widespread internal server error (500), as well as Cloudflare Dashboard and API failing. ChatGPT users are reportedly seeing error messages like “Please unblock challenges.cloudflare.com to proceed.” I even checked with Copilot at the time of writing, and it’s also not responding at the moment. It was working a few minutes back, by the way.
I am currently getting “I’m sorry, I’m having trouble responding to requests right now. Let’s try this again in a bit” error message for all my queries. Speaking of Gemini, it’s down as well. I’m currently getting “Something went wrong error” and nothing else when trying to interact with the AI assistant.
Meanwhile, on X (formerly Twitter) everything appears to be not working at the moment. This includes home feed, trending feed, and other sections of the social media app.

In an update (Nov 18, 2025 – 13:04 UTC), Cloudflare mentioned that “During our attempts to remediate, we have disabled WARP access in London. Users in London trying to access the Internet via WARP will see a failure to connect.” Apparently, the issue has been identified, and Cloudflare has “made changes that have allowed Cloudflare Access and WARP to recover. Error levels for Access and WARP users have returned to pre-incident rates.” It has also re-enabled WARP access in London.
