The 6th Middle East Instrumentation Cybersecurity and Automation EXPO (MEICA EXPO 2025) is set to return to Abu Dhabi from 16–18 September 2025 at the prestigious Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi.
Organised by the UAE Cybersecurity Council in collaboration with the International Society of Automation (ISA UAE – Abu Dhabi Section), the three-day show and conference will bring together international experts, technology suppliers, and industry stakeholders to discuss developments in Instrumentation Control, Process Automation, and Industrial Cybersecurity.
As industries throughout the region increase digitization, Meica Expo 2025 provides a strategic forum to present the latest innovations, exchange vital ideas and illustrate best practices that boost safe and efficient operations.
Being an event accredited by CPD, Meica Expo not only offers delegates a worthwhile learning experience but also an impact-oriented network experience. Attendees will engage with vision leaders, decision-makers, and solution providers to source first-hand information about the technologies and strategies fueling industrial ecosystem evolution in the Middle East and beyond.
This year’s keynote address will be delivered by H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security, United Arab Emirates Government, setting the stage for a powerful program of discussion & exchange. The conference will be chaired by Mr. Salem Al Blooshi of ADNOC Distribution, ensuring a strong industry perspective throughout.
With Acronis as the Silver Sponsor, Xage and Inspira as the Associate Sponsors, and Xona and Senkron as the Networking Sponsors, the event is set to tap into all facets of instrumentation, cybersecurity, and automation. It will navigate complex challenges in oil and gas, public services, and heavy industries, while displaying solutions from major global suppliers.
One of the main highlights of Meica Expo 2025 will be a National OT Cybercrust Fiscal year, conducted by the United Arab Cyber Security Council in collaboration with Digital Reach and Shieldworks, offering participants a practical and unprecedented opportunity to try a coordinated Cyberattack scenario. Based on real-world violation events, the drill will challenge participants to make critical pressure decisions, integrate technical and executive responses, and strengthen their cyber crisis management skills. This immersive exercise will provide valuable information on leadership functions, decision-making, and multifunctional coordination during high-risk cyber incidents.
Another major highlight is the executive roundtable led by OMNY on “Building a Proactive & Resilient Cyber Strategy for Critical Infrastructure.” The round table will focus on the protection of critical infrastructure in an IT/OT convergence era and a multi-layer cybersecurity strategy. Industry leaders will explore how to strengthen resilience through holistic safety architectures, adherence to global standards, and strategic use of digitization as a defense facilitator.
Based on the success of its previous editions, Meica Expo 2025 will feature a comprehensive showcase, interactive conference sessions, and exclusive networking opportunities, making it one of the region’s leading meetings for oil, gas, petrochemicals, energy, and manufacturing professionals.
The Middle East Instrumentation Cybersecurity and Automation EXPO (MEICA EXPO) is the region’s premier event focused on promoting Instrumentation Control, Process Automation, and Industrial Cybersecurity.
