ChatGPT Jobs could boost OpenAI’s position against rivals

ChatGPT, which is reportedly losing some of its market share to Google Gemini, will definitely get a boost from having an agent that helps people find the right pathway to boost their career. OpenAI is definitely looking to do that, while it continues to compete alongside other rivals like Anthropic and more. Speaking of new features, OpenAI also recently introduced ChatGPT Health, followed by a healthcare suite to automate clinical and administrative work.

That being said, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard about companies working on a dedicated career assistant. Microsoft, which heavily backs OpenAI, is reportedly also working on Career Coach within Copilot. As reported, the feature or agent would offer users an interactive environment to prepare for interviews and get career advice from Copilot.
